TUI River Cruises has unveiled its first-ever music-themed sailing, Rewind on the Rhine, set to depart on TUI Skyla in November 2026. The themed cruise will go on sale from 5 June 2026.
The three-night itinerary will combine scenic cruising through the Rhine’s castles, vineyards and riverside towns with a curated programme of 70s and 80s entertainment.
Headlined by BBC Radio DJ, Gary Davies and ABBA Tribute Band Revival, the sailing will also celebrate TUI River Cruises’ fifth anniversary with a birthday themed event onboard.
Guests can expect a lively programme of entertainment throughout the sailing where Gary Davies will host a DJ session featuring iconic 80s dancefloor hits, as well as an exclusive Q&A sharing behind-the-scenes stories from his career and passion for music.
Meanwhile, the number one official ABBA tribute act in the UK, ABBA Tribute Band Revival, will bring the spirit of the 70s to life with performances of the Swedish band’s greatest hits. Guests can look out for nostalgic choreography, authentic costumes, stunning production and excellent musicianship.
Enhancing the retro experience, the itinerary will also include silent discos, decade-themed quizzes, and themed performances from TUI River Cruises’ onboard entertainment team.
Guests can also enjoy films celebrating the era, alongside special onboard moments celebrating the brand’s five years of sailing.
The three-night 70s and 80s themed cruise on TUI Skyla takes place from Wednesday 18 November 2026 – Saturday 21November 2026, setting sail from Frankfurt, Germany sailing down the river Rhine stopping in Koblenz, Germany; Rüdesheim, Germany and returning back to Frankfurt, Germany.
