CroisiEurope is redefining autumn travel with the launch of its new November Cruise Escapes collection.
Designed specifically for the quieter travel season, these exclusive departures invite guests to discover Europe’s rivers from a fresh perspective, combining peaceful sightseeing with unique cultural experiences available only on these special sailings.
Taking advantage of the mild late-season climate and reduced visitor numbers, the new November cruises offer travellers the opportunity to explore iconic destinations in a more relaxed and intimate atmosphere.
Guests can enjoy quieter access to popular sites and monuments while experiencing deeper connections with local communities, artisans and regional traditions.
“November offers a completely different way to travel,” says CroisiEurope’s Lucas Schmitter.
“These cruises have been specially created to showcase the beauty of the off-season through exclusive excursions, authentic cultural encounters and enriching onboard experiences that are not available on our regular departures.”

Far more than an extension of the cruising season, the November Cruise Escapes feature specially curated entertainment and excursions designed exclusively for these departures. Highlights include:
- Onboard culinary demonstrations: Guests can learn regional culinary traditions through live demonstrations Black Forest cake assembly, traditional Alsatian Spätzle preparation, Provençal tapenade and anchovy paste making and the secrets behind Normandy’s famous Tarte Tatin.
- Exclusive themed evenings: A programme of regional celebrations brings local culture to life, including Bavarian-themed evenings, open-air dance events, traditional Gypsy music evenings, authentic Lyonnais bouchon-inspired entertainment and Celtic folklore celebrations on the Loire.
- Cultural and sensory discoveries: Special activities immerse guests in local heritage, including discovering the world of Provençal lavender, interactive games exploring Alsatian dialects and traditions and lectures on the Dutch Golden Age.
- Regional tastings: Guestscan savour local flavours through carefully selected tastings, including Beaujolais wines paired with regional charcuterie and cheeses, Saint-Émilion wines, Pommeau de Normandie and traditional Montélimar nougat.
- Exclusive included excursions: Selected departures feature exceptional experiences such as a complimentary dinner at the Abbaye de Collonges – Paul Bocuse, a complimentary excursion to the Loire Valley châteaux and discovery tours of Amsterdam’s canals and the Rijksmuseum.
The November Cruise Escapes collection comprises nine specially designed itineraries operating on French waterways and along the Rhine.

Each cruise embraces the same philosophy: fewer crowds, richer experiences, authentic encounters and exclusive programming available only during these seasonal departures.
