Additionally, Carnival has opened reservations for the ship’s new 2028/2029 season. The new itineraries depart from Norfolk, Virginia through April 2029 and feature six- to eight-day sailings to The Bahamas, Bermuda, the Eastern Caribbean and Canada, with visits to Celebration Key, RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay, Grand Turk, Amber Cove, and more.

Carnival Freedom’s new whale tail funnel features a lower height to allow access to additional ports.

During the dry dock, the ship also received several enhancements to the onboard experience, including a redesigned casino with more than 100 additional gaming machines, a refreshed video arcade, updated retail spaces and accessibility improvements throughout the ship.
