Following the success of its first-ever charter in February 2026, Fred. Holidays has announced details of a second fully-escorted Mekong charter which will operate in January 2027 onboard the RV Indochine II.
The 14-night ‘Special Departure – The Mekong, Angkor Wat & Saigon’ trip begins in Siem Reap with two nights in the five-star Borei Angkor Siem Reap, a full-day guided tour of Angkor Wat and a spectacular performance by the Phare Cambodian Circus featuring talented local artists.
Guests will then embark on an eight-night sailing along the Mekong from Siem Reap all the way into central Ho Chi Minh City with visits to Koh Chen, Kampong Tralach, Kampong Chhnang, Phnom Penh, Chau Doc, Sa Dec, Vinh Long, Cai Be and My Tho.
Upon disembarkation, guests will transfer to the five-star New World Saigon Hotel for two nights and enjoy a guided Saigon Streets Secrets tour, a unique experience that reveals an unseen side to the city beyond the usual tourist trail.
